In this article I am going to explain about rwinsta command in windows server 2008 operating system.
Rwinsta command in Windows Server 2008
The rwinsta command is same as reset session command, and also used to reset or delete a session on a Remote Desktop Session Host.
Syntax of Rwinsta command
rwinsta [<SessionName> | <SessionId>] [/ server: <ServerName>] [/v] |
Parameters in Rwinsta command
It contains following parameter, which is given below:

Description |
<sessionName> |
It specifies the name of the session that you want to reset. |
<SessionId> |
It specifies the ID of the session to reset. |
/ server: <ServerName> |
It specifies the terminal server containing the session that you want to reset. |
/v |
It prompts you for confirmation before replacing a destination file or adding a source file. |
/r |
It display information about the actions being performed. |
