Reset session  command in Windows Server 2008

The reset session command is used to enables you to reset or delete a session on a Remote Desktop Session Host server.

Syntax of Reset session command

reset session [<SessionName> | <SessionId>] [/ server: <ServerName>] [/v]

Parameters in Reset session  command

It contains following parameter, which is given below:
 
Parameter Description
<sessionName> It specifies the name of the session that you want to reset.
 <SessionId> It specifies the ID of the session to reset.
/ server: <ServerName> It specifies the terminal server containing the session that you want to reset.
/v It prompts you for confirmation before replacing a destination file or adding a source file.
/r It display information about the actions being performed.

Example of Reset session  command

reset session 1
