Level Resources Without Extending The End Date
This article explains how resources can be level without extending the end date in Project 2010.
Introduction
If you want to automatically level resources without moving the project end date, level only within available slack option can be used. Process for level resources without extending the end date is given below.
Step 1
Click on the Resources tab.
Step 2
Then click on the Leveling Options button.
Step 3
Check the Level Only Within Available Slack Option.
Step 4
Mark the Level Only Within Available Slack Option, if it is not selected.
Step 5
Click on OK button.
Step 6
Then click the Level All button.
