How to use Table Cache in ODBC Driver
This article gives a brief description about connection string related to Table Cache in Advantage ODBC Driver.
Table Cache
Table cache is a a part of memory used to storing small amount of information or records so that the data can be retrieved easily and at a very fast rate. It is beneficial to use the table cache. To implement the connection between the table cache use the following connection string
| DataDirectory=\\servername\sharename\dictionaryfile.add;ServerTypes=2;RightsChecking=OFF; |
NOTE: By default the number of files in cache is 25.
